SILENT GLIDE SHOWER CURTAIN
FLUTED WOODEN ROD:
REPLACEABLE LINER:
SILENT GLIDE RINGS:
One of the most predominant features in any bathroom is the shower enclosure. Utilize this feature to showcase your designs with a beautiful custom shower curtain.
The OBW Silent Glide Shower Curtain uses a single piece wooden rod with an internal compression mounting system. Nylon lined shower rings support the curtain and along with the wooden rod enable the silent operation of the curtain. Installation is reduced to simply placing the shower rings on the rod and positioning the rod at the right height over the shower entrance.
The curtain features an internal liner that keeps the water in and is easily and inexpensively replaced, eliminating the ugly job of cleaning the shower enclosure.
In 1971, a post-Space Oddity, pre-Ziggy Stardust David Bowiewrote "Kooks" as a sweet ode to his newborn son Zowie Bowie (legal name Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones) and it appears on his brilliant and critically-acclaimed Hunky Dory album. As the story goes,Bowie was listening to a Neil Young record at home when he got the news of his son's birth and so the song is thought to be a pastiche of Young's early '70s music. True or not, it's a lovely and romantic tune that offers an unconventional primer on life lessons. Bonus factoid: the hand-tinted "Hunky Dory" album cover was influenced by a Marlene Dietrich photo book that Bowie took with him to the photo shoot. "Kooks"was featured on Monica's July 24th show on WFMU and can be purchased via iTunes and Amazon.
